What We Do
The MACA Board of Directors is elected by the members and consists of a President, Vice President, Finance & Administration Officer, the immediate Past President and three elected Directors. The control and management of MACA and its property is the responsibility of the Board of Directors. In addition, the Board is responsible for maintaining the continuity of MACA and the furthering of its long-range purposes and benefits to members.
Rena is currently the Managing Principal of the Compensation Consulting team at Newport Group. She has over twenty years of consulting and industry experience assisting clients in executing their strategic compensation initiatives in both the workforce and executive compensation arenas. Rena joined McGladrey’s Human Capital team in 2008, then that group was sold to Verisight, and then acquired Newport Group. Prior to returning to the States, Rena co-founded IMA Consulting, a management consulting company which served more than 200 firms in Istanbul, Turkey. In that role she represented the Hay Group in the Istanbul marketplace. Prior to IMA, Rena served on the corporate side of Human Resources in the International Trade Group of a major Turkish conglomerate with offices in 15 countries and revenues of US $1B+. Rena has an MBA and was on the Board of Metro Milwaukee SHRM for 8 years including the executive committee and President for the 2014-2015 term.

Wanda has over 17 years of human resources experience, with a primary focus on compensation since 2009. Wanda holds a BA degree in Management and Communications and an MBA with an emphasis in Human Resource Management from Concordia University. Wanda is a member of World at Work and is currently pursuing her CCP.
Brian is currently a Manager of Compensation at Kohl’s. Prior to Kohl’s, Brian was a Senior Compensation Analyst at Brookdale Senior Living providing guidance on compensation policies, advising on pay decisions, pay structure analysis and design, and stock plan administration. Brian has over 10 years of compensation experience and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and is a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP). In addition to being a member of MACA, he is also a member of MMSRHM, World at Work and SHRM.
Cheng is currently a Benefit and Compensation Analyst at A. O. Smith Corporation. Prior to A. O. Smith, Cheng was a Financial Analyst at Rexnord Industries for a decade. In this role, she was responsible for completing weekly and monthly reporting, month end closing processes, journal entries, account analysis, account reconciliations, budget, forecast, strategic plan, fixed asset management, and other analytical projects. Cheng has over two years of benefit and compensation experience and holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. In addition to being a member of MACA, she is also a member of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, World at Work, SHRM, and a Regional Leader for the Women’s Resource Network at A.O. Smith Corporation.
Michael is a Human Resources Professional with over 20 years of experience primarily focused in Compensation. He has also worked in Benefits and HRIS. He has been a Compensation Program Manager, Manager of Compensation, Total Rewards Manager, Senior Compensation Project Analyst, Senior Compensation Analyst, Compensation Analyst/Specialist, Senior HRIS Analyst, and a number of other titles during his Human Resource career. He has worked in such companies as Aurora Health Care, Froedtert, Wheaton Franciscan Health Care, and others. Michael holds a BS degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. He was the President of MACA for the 2010/2011 program year and has previously been an active member of the MACA technology committee.
Alyssa is the Manager of HRIS & Compensation at Goodwill Industries of SE Wisconsin, where she owns all compensation program elements, including the organizational compensation philosophy, salary structure development, market analysis, incentive plan design, and merit administration. Recently, she has started managing the HRIS team, and is working towards building and implementing the long term HR technology strategy at Goodwill. Alyssa has worked in HR Compensation for nine years and is on the program committee of the Milwaukee Area Compensation Association. Aylssa earned her CCP through World at Work in
Nancy is currently a Compensation Specialist at Potawatomi Hotel and Casino. Prior to joining Potawatomi, Nancy was the Compensation and Benefits Analyst for Corix Utilities and the Compensation Manager at Extendicare. She has also worked in compensation at Aurora Health Care and Fiserv. Nancy has over 15 years of compensation experience and hold a Bachelors of Business Administration Degree from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and earned her CCP in October 2014.
